Alba House is a beautiful, detached Victorian villa built around 1860 and set in large, landscaped gardens with many mature trees and ample seating areas.
The bedrooms, all en suite, are individually designed with comfort in mind.
Each of the spacious bedrooms has retained its Victorian proportions and has either one double (or king-size) bed or twin beds. All bedrooms have been refurbished over the last 6 months. Private parking is available for all guests.
Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, The Scottish Parliament Building, The Festival Theatre, The Playhouse Theatre and The Edinburgh International Conference Centre are all close by. Directions
Take the airport bus to Waverley Station. From Waverley Station, cross Prince's Street to the shops and take any bus from 3, 3A, 37 and 37A to Craigmillar Park. Alternatively, when leaving Waverley Station on Prince's Street, turn right and walk two hundred yards to the North Bridge. Cross to the east side of the North Bridge and take any bus from 7, 8 and 31, in addition to 3, 3A, 37 and 37A to Craigmillar Park. The bus stops outside Alba House and will only take a few minutes in total.
