Originally a sea merchants' house, the Edinburgh Thistle Guest House now provides seven lovely rooms, available as single, double, twin and family. Start each morning of your stay with a delicious continental breakfast before heading out to discover all that Edinburgh has to offer. with views of Leith Links, originally a golf course in the 15th century, the house is also close to the Royal Museum of Scotland and The Palace of Holyrood House. Furthermore, the Royal Yacht Britannia is berthed at Leith, which is only a 10 minute walk away, along with the finest fish restaurants and wine bars. Check in time- 1. 30pm to 4. 30 pmGuests checking in after 4. 30pm are required to telephone or email us directly. Late checkins will be given a code to express check in.
We are 10 minutes by bus from central Edinburgh. From Princess Mall(train Station) a taxi will cost approx GBP 5. A bus 12 0r 25 will bring you yards from our door step costing approx 90pence per person travelling. For Airport arrivals, either a airport taxi or airport bus are readily available outside of the airport. Taxi can be an expensive option, however airport bus's are very reasonable. We are approx 30 mins from the airport.

Follow signs for "Leith" we are situated overlooking "Leith Links Park".

From city centre, Bus and Waverly train station - bus number 12 or 25.

From the airport you can take a taxi or the airport bus into the city centre, then a bus or taxi to Leith Links.

5 - 10 minutes from city centre to Leith Links by bus, car or taxi.

One-Bedroom Apartment

Guests should check in at 10 East Hermitage Place, Edinburgh, EH6 8AA. Once they have completed registration they will be given keys and directions to their apartment. Guests can be taken by private car at a very small additional cost.<BR><BR>The apartment is serviced and fresh linen and towels are provided once a week. Additional servicing can be arranged at an extra cost.
